Reserves

Ahhhhh San Dieeeeeeeaaaggggoooo. Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego..... Ron Burgundy

The cool temperatures have been a welcome relief from the Tucson heat. After a week of riding northern San Diego County, I have a good grasp of what needs to be done to make a ~60 mile epic loop. This area is home to dozens of preserves, when connected together, you could have a potential for a huge, full day epic. Enter a week of scouting and "getting back into shape."

A few pictures from the scouting this week to get you a taste of the riding.

Here is the proposed epic loop

San Dieguito
Hodges Lake (south and North)
Mule Ears
Old Coach Trail
Poway Lake
Mount Woodson
Iron Mountain
Poway Trails
Pensaquitos
Santa Luz
Black Mountain

N. Arizona

Another family in Las Vegas meant a road trip of riding in northern Arizona. I spent a few days in Flagstaff...

before riding at Bill Williams...

and, wait, riding in Kingman, Arizona?! Yeah, did a quick stop to check out the trails in Kingman. Fun stuff. I'd recommend stopping if you are ever in the

As you can see, the camera has taken a back seat recently in my solo riding during the past month.
